The roots of trees
are strong & foundational, old & young
their unmoving metamorphosis manifests in
the trunks of trees
The roots push them up
and bring nutrients so that
the leaves of trees
may be lush and plentiful.
Painted with red and yellow and orange and green
God wishes all It's creations the joy of testimony, praise, & revelation
But trees have no hands or voices to raise in exaltation,
so God gives the trees the bright ability of colorful expression
and the branches of trees;
so they may share their gifts of shade and color with the Earth
and Touch The Sky with the exuberances of Heaven!
